"I ♥ Daisy"

.....is the name of this piece created by hello gorgeous for the Saving Daisy raffle. 

{"I ♥ Daisy"}

The bracelet is an easy-wear elasticated piece consisting of 8mm Czech glass fire-polished jet rounds accentuated with a Sterling Silver open hollow heart.

Casual or smart, day or evening wear "I ♥ Daisy" would fit in perfectly...whatever the occasion! 

The raffle closed on 24th May but will be drawn tomorrow - 3rd June - I am very excited to be part of this fabulous gesture by one Facebook friend to another, in what would otherwise have been a heart-wrenching choice for Daisy's owners to make.  The raffle was set up to raise the £1,600 needed to cover the cost of surgery to Daisy's leg.  It has ended up raising £3,434.47 with some amazing prizes on offer....all donated by craft people in and out of the industry. 

The last I heard there will be one massive prize with 19 {yes, nineteen} smaller ones.

The excess monies raised {once prizes have been posted} will be split equally between The Dog's Trust and Asperger's Society {which is a condition Daisy's owners have first hand knowledge of with their son}

DAISY UPDATE: I am happy to tell you Daisy has had her op {after a few false starts} and is on the long road to recovery...it's amazing what you can achieve when you pull together. 

THIS is what puts a smile in my heart!

Question of the Week - How do you store yours??

I'm talking about Sterling Silver

I recently purchased some fabulous plastic boxes, ideal for keeping beads in, so over the Easter period I have been having a sort through my gemstones, don't they look SOOO pretty in their little homes!

and smaller ones for the "fashion" beads/components



Then I hit a dilemma, how to store my Sterling Silver pieces/components??  

This is how they are stored right now:

wrapped up and altogether in envelopes....not very pretty or inspiring!!

Should I get more boxes {the walls of the compartments can be removed to make each compartment bigger} to store them in, should I wrap them first in tissue paper, or keep them in polythene bags and then in the boxes, or should I just store them "naked" OR  should I think of something else entirely to store them in....I am scratching my head....

So my question of the week to you is:

Delicate little wrist pleaser.....

I love having favourites and am ALWAYS finding items as my next favourite thing to own, but I have to say that this little creation is actually my FAVOURITE - of the moment!!!  It's made up of heated Agate rondelles in a gorgeous array of reds and sands and accented with 2mm Sterling Silver round beads, finished off with a fancy toggle clasp.

I love the smooth feel of this bracelet, it's SO tactile and shiny too! A delicate little wrist pleaser to wear everyday!
