Twenty Question Tuesday

In your eyes, what’s Paradise?
Home - ideally when it's tidy and the children are playing happily. Oh and maybe a bit of sunshine too so we can go in the garden!

Prized Possession
My portable hard drive full of photographs of our life since we've become a family. It would be the one thing (after my family of course) that I'd grab if there was ever a fire.

Favourite medium to work with and why?
Paper. Just because I've always loved stationery.

Flowers or chocolate?
Chocolate.

Who influenced you the most?
Most definitely my Mum. She's always been very creative, and is a fellow Folksy seller - Willow Wire Creations.

Who would you most like to go to Dinner with?
My husband. We don't get to go out very often.

Top Cat or Banana Splits?
Top Cat.

Today I wore:
Navy and white striped t-shirt with a little navy cardi, navy wide legged trousers and red t-bar shoes.

Do you have a favourite online {bead, craft or textile} place to shop and would recommend
Eco craft is a great online supplier of recycled paper, card and envelopes.

What inspired you to do what you do?
Seeing all the other sellers on Folksy and Etsy. I didn't realise there was such a huge number of designer/makers selling online. I was so amazed by so much talent that I had to try and join in.

McDreamy or McSteamy?
I've never watched Grey's Anatomy, but the name McDreamy is more appealing than McSteamy. So gonna go with McDreamy.

If you could do anything else, what would it be?
Be a more organised person!

Favourite item of clothing
Chocolate brown Celtic sheepskin boots. Toasty warm.

Best childhood memory
I'm lucky enough to have loads of good memories. Some of the most memorable are the many Christmas mornings me and my brothers would sit at the top of the stairs, bursting with excitement, waiting for our Mum and Dad to check if Father Christmas had been.

Most cringe-worthy moment
My first kiss. Enough said.

Favourite holiday destination
Before I had children I would have said New York, but now I'm happy to stay closer to home and love spending time on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales.

Which celebrity would you have as your best friend and why
Sara Cox would probably make a good best friend, she makes me laugh, she's down to earth and I reckon my friends would like her too.

Best “crafty” tip you can offer
Keep your eyes open to everything around you, even when you're at the supermarket or in the park - there's creative inspiration everywhere.

What’s your Star sign?
Cancer.

What would you most like to see happen next?
For me personally, I'm content with everything as it is. Maybe when my youngest is in full time school I'll step up a gear with gooseberrymoon by finding more shops and galleries to stock my stationery. But for now things are ticking along nicely.

OOOooo yes, Christmas mornings were just like that in our house too...the excitement was everywhere!!

My thanks to the gorgeous Gooseberrymoon for her contribution to this weeks questions.

Go take a peek at her blog and discover the delicious stationary on offer....you certainly won't be disappointed by what you see ;o)

hugs
